chocolate, chocolate drizzle, choices, coffee, friday, living on the edge, moccachino, specialty coffee, whip cream
Today I’ll have a full-fat full-caff WITH whip cream and chocolate drizzle Moccachino. Yeah. It’s Friday, and there is something about the end of a long week that makes me throw caution to the wind and um… order a specialty coffee. Yup, I’m at the stage of my life where that makes me happy. Woo-hooo am I living on the edge or what? What do you do to kick start your weekends? Anyone else have particular coffee choices?

When I’m at Starbucks, I order nothing but a Caramel Mocha. The thought of having coffee, chocolate, and caramel in one cup really sounds divine for me. Now if only I can get it as regularly as I used to… they’re becoming costly.

Yes, they are costly – I also go to Starbucks. But I like to treat myself once a week! The Caramel mocha sounds good too – now I have to try that one!!

Rembrandt’s Coffee House has a Southern Pecan coffee that I just love http://www.bluffviewartdistrict.com/subpage.php?pageId=140 .
My favorite coffee drink though is a white chocolate mocha with an extra shot of expresso!

wonderful post. thanks for the invite to offer up coffee preferences. we do espresso lattes with a thick foamy skim milk top that seems to hold an almost meringue-like consistency when the milk has Splenda added to it before steaming. I usually grind a mix of decaf beans and dark roast beans. caffeine doesn`t make for calmness while painting.

wow that sounds great! you make them yourself? I want to be able to make great coffee at home – without buying an expensive machine!

It was our Christmas gift to each other–a ‘KRUPS’ Espresso-maker ‘XP1020’–about $100–good for two people, nothing fancy but steams the milk and makes a great espresso/latte, etc. quickly and easily. It’s always interesting asking people how they begin their day!

Wow – now that is something affordable! Thanks for the recommendation – I’m going to look into it!
