inTake a look at the styling by Toast uk. Lovely garments, housewares and Christmas items galore! It’s their photography that grabs my attention. Models in the woods, by the ocean or in an artist’s boho studio. No fake backdrops or cheesy poses. Brilliance at it’s best. Inspiring. Rustic chic at it’s best.

Sometimes it’s as simple as enjoying a cup of cocoa with a loved one. Don’t forget to add a festive cookie to the side of the cup for that extra special touch during the holiday season! Yes kids, it’s that easy!

I have never been one for tinsel or multi coloured lights at Christmas. These DIY lanterns caught my attention because they’re easy to make and they fit into my colour palette of mixed metals and white! Simple, functional and pretty!
You only need a few simple tools to complete this project. The cones themselves are fashioned from perforated sheet metal which can be found at most craft stores.

inHave you heard of the design company by nord yet? The collections are inspired by raw yet beautiful Nordic nature, where rough and gentle meet. Simple design, clean lines and a neutral palate. Rustic meets modern. The knit wear is stunning. For the season they have stockings and lovely duvet covers (perfect for winter nights) with oversized graphics of wild animals including wolves and bears! Perfect for kids and adults alike.

inToday, we’ll take a look at one of the coolest apartments ever. In my humble opinion. This is the abode of Patric Ohlund, who works as a model and lives in Stockholm.
I love the crisp white walls, black floors, the magazine collection displayed as art, the skulls and the chic way in which Patric displays all of his possessions, even his cool boots in the foyer. Oversized portraits and unexpected animals. Bright and airy. I could live here!

inIt’s that time of year again – you know what I mean. You have a sudden fête to go to and you open up the closet doors only to discover that for the past few years you’ve been wearing your trusty LBD. Oh, that’s me actually!
Anthropologie has a new holiday collection that is too fabulous for words. My favourite is the Karinska Tulle Skirt. So feminine and flirty! The accessories are vintage and so chic. I love that they mixed metallics with colour, lace and pastels, satin and bling.

inSerendipity. I happily found a very interesting blog today. Truth be told, my own blogging may be sporadic in November and December. You see, I have some weight to shed and it’s more work than I first anticipated. Research… new recipes… chopping veggies (ugh, seriously?) …exercise …more veggies. If I could dip my celery sticks into chocolate, I would. Enter the Minimalist Baker. Every recipe consists of 10 ingredients or less, requires a single spoon or bowl, or takes 30 minutes or less to prepare. This totally suits my lifestyle and my hatred for “ma petite cuisine” which is fancy for “galley kitchen”!
I’m going to try baking these Vegan Banana Nut Muffins for Two. If it’s vegan, it has to be good for me… right?
I’m curious… is this a breakfast that I dare indulge in once a week?
