Inspired

Today, I’m inspired by this simple but lovely way to display magazines and stash some reading glasses! A magazine rack and miscellaneous storage for the office/home. Built with an IKEA Grundtal rail + Ribba picture ledge! So simple, yet so functional.

Vintage style and rustic interiors are catching my eye lately, so I thought I’d share the work of New York based photographer Seth Smoot. I love the unexpected objects in his photos and the stories they quietly tell. For a visual pick-me up visit his site.

This time of year is for nesting. I stay indoors a lot and my pinterest obsession is in full gear. Here’s what I’m pinning now – in preparation for the shorter days to follow and just because!

What a delicious recipe – whole grain pumpkin pancakes with apple maple compote.

This is a possible hallowe’en costume for me – love the big spider!

I think I will post about things like this more often. It can be a new series called, “Yeah, it’s that easy”. This is such a clever idea for a small get together or a large soirée! Chop black olives into small bow ties and buttons and serve with triangles of brie cheese on crackers! Elegant canapés!
