If you haven’t heard of Jib Jab, you really have to visit their website so you can personalize your own holiday e-card. This year, I decided to try something new. Instead of putting my face onto the animated video for Gangnam Style, I chose to use my adorable dog Lexi instead. It is hilarious to watch my pet dancing Gangnam Style.
Call me crazy but I want it to snow! I’ve been scouring Pinterest in an effort to get some gift wrapping ideas but I get distracted by the lovely wintery photos and Christmas decorations. Here is a small collection of my favorites. I hope it gets you in the spirit of the season!
I have never been one for tinsel or multi coloured lights at Christmas. These DIY lanterns caught my attention because they’re easy to make and they fit into my colour palette of mixed metals and white! Simple, functional and pretty!
You only need a few simple tools to complete this project. The cones themselves are fashioned from perforated sheet metal which can be found at most craft stores.

I got lost in Blogland yesterday and much to my surprise and delight I found myself at the House of Turquoise. Erin put together a post of a festive party – turquoise and hot pink with so many gorgeous accessories and glittery accents! The styling of the event by Tori of Sitting in a Tree Events was photographed by the incredibly talented Joielala Photographie! It is truly a visual cornucopia.
The unexpected pairing of turquoise and pink reminds one that all that glitters is not always gold. I love the combination of white branches and clear baubles with confetti in them, the sequinned stockings in opalescent colours, the cloches with tiny white trees in them on lovely turquoise dinner plates – oh my!! I dream of being invited to parties like this!! Très chic, très hip.
