This was taken from the bench I sometimes eat my lunch on. I am so lucky to work in a neighbourhood where architecture and history have been preserved. The church bells are ringing when I arrive at work in the morning, resounding throughout the neighbourhood. I feel like I’m in an small medieval town instead of a busy metropolis.
The subway at 5 o’clock on Friday – our RUSH HOUR. Notice that the platform is empty. So many people are on vacation that the city feels almost like a ghost town.
