Amy Moss, the creative mind behind the blog Eat drink Chic was inspired by vintage apothecary labels and she was kind enough to post the free label template on her blog.
Amy originally put her labels on coloured glass jars from ikea, which have been discontinued. Not to worry, these labels will look fantastic on anything that look vintage. Old apothecary jars, vintage milk bottles and cotton ball jars!
I created this Photoshop mock ups to show you how fantastic this label looks on this Chemist’s Jar from Anthropologie
This is how the label would appear on the SLOM bottle with stopper from ikea.
At only $1.49 this is a great way to make a statement in the kitchen or bathroom and it could also be used as a flower vase.
And finally, bathroom canisters get a vintage vibe – from Crate and Barrel

Fantastic …would you print on paper or plastic decal ?
I would print it on 8.5 x 11 label paper and trim it with an exacto blade. Some print shops can probably print it on plastic decal – but why pay extra? That’s just the frugal part of me talking!
Beautiful bottles amd labels! I wonder how they’d adhere and hold up! My ago routes we’re the 2nd and last photos! Lovely.
Thank you for the comment! I think that Avery labels hold up really well. Just don’t get them wet or put them in the fridge!
Wonderful idea! Thank you for posting this.
